What a wonderful pub experience! I was thoroughly impressed by the superb quality of the meals, and the team working there made the visit even better with their genuinely friendly service.

Our recent visit was a truly delightful experience, marked by an absolutely lovely meal. We were thoroughly impressed by the generous portion sizes and the menu's imaginative interpretations of the classic schnitzel; every dish we sampled was genuinely delicious. The service was equally commendable, with staff members who were consistently prompt, wonderfully polite, and incredibly friendly. Beyond the excellent food and service, the hotel itself boasts a charming and inviting atmosphere, making it a place we always enjoy returning to and wholeheartedly recommend.

This charming hotel presents a respectable menu for guests. Although the pricing felt a little on the higher side, the generous serves certainly made up for it. Outside, the surroundings are beautifully lush and green, with seating arranged to allow you to fully appreciate the natural ambiance. Plus, ample parking is conveniently located just across the road.

We've visited this establishment previously and always enjoyed a delightful meal coupled with excellent service. However, our recent lunch experience was marred by an utterly unacceptable lack of attention. After being instructed to wait briefly to place our order, the staff member returned only to completely disregard us and instead assist newly arrived patrons. Thankfully, our day was salvaged by a trip to the Vale Hotel in McLaren Vale, where we received wonderful service and a truly fantastic meal. Consequently, we have no intention of returning to the Royal Oak. It's clear that some customer service training is desperately needed for your barmaid, as her conduct was both incredibly rude and disrespectful.

You'll find this spot to be a quintessential country pub. While rooms with ensuites are limited, we were pleased to have secured one for our visit. Our accommodation was notably clean and featured a minimalist design. The bed, I must say, was exceptionally comfortable, and the shower offered fantastic, strong water pressure.

I had such a fantastic time at the Royal Oak Hotel in Clarendon! The culinary offerings were delightful, consistently arriving hot and flavorful. The scenery from the hotel was also quite beautiful. Every member of the front desk staff was exceptionally supportive and welcoming. A special acknowledgment goes to Finn, our server, whose constant smile and outstanding assistance truly elevated my entire visit. This establishment is certainly worth experiencing.

I'm consistently impressed with the food here; it's genuinely excellent. The buffalo wings, in particular, are absolutely amazing, and I've noticed a significant improvement in their coating. It's also great to see more staff on duty, as they seem much less stretched than on previous visits. The food always tastes incredibly fresh, and every member of the team is wonderfully friendly. This truly is a fantastic country pub, providing a really pleasant experience.

My visit was truly enjoyable, thanks to the wonderfully friendly bar staff who made me feel right at home. The overall atmosphere was delightful, and I was very impressed with the quality of the food.

My lunch experience on February 5th was absolutely fantastic. I indulged in the pasta marinara with garlic sauce, and it was genuinely exceptional – no exaggeration, you simply must taste it; I'm already hoping to get my hands on that recipe! The waitstaff were wonderfully attentive and kind, setting a perfect example of how service should always be. This visit truly earned its full recommendation.

Our car club recently enjoyed a pre-booked lunch at this pub, and we left feeling very satisfied. The delicious food, coupled with the impressively swift service, truly stood out. I would enthusiastically recommend it to others.
